Leo Carter’s  Strike List.  22 October 43 – 14 June 44.  On 11 May 44, he became a pilot.  On completing his first five strikes  he earns the Air Medal and for every five following missions he earns an Oak Leaf Cluster.  Actual dates of the awards are indicated.
